I am very excited to launch this series!

The Introduction to Real Estate Modelling series will focus on three key fundamental objectives:

1) Coverage of Applications

2) Practical Approaches to Modelling

3) Spreadsheet Analysis

The goal is to provide the user with the foundation to be able to model their own real estate investments while also increasing confidence in their decision-making capabilities. A lot of time can be wasted with “analysis paralysis” but with this eBook series, I hope to cut down that time spent by using a well-designed model that relays:

1) Return Profiles

2) Debt Profiles

In this series, you will learn how to model investment properties but also, you will gain an understanding of what the key drivers are for real estate. I will break down key metrics, how they are derived, and what they mean in terms of the output they display.

From all of this, I hope to provide a set of principles that will allow you to achieve success with real estate investing; specifically, understanding how the financials of properties play a significant role in your investment decisions.

Lastly, this eBook is not intended to be a comprehensive introduction to real estate investing. Instead, the intention here is to focus on financial modelling and how it can be incorporated into your strategy playbook.
